This is the worst timing ever, I know.
As I mentioned before, three days ago was the first day of school. I'm a senior in high school who is taking college classes at the local college through the highschool... BUT our school is starting two weeks later than normal this year due to construction, AND the college starts two weeks before high school was supposed to start. In other words, I'm a month behind the college kids, and I have to catch up in the next three and a half months (before mid-december at end of semester) to take the final. And since the college has had more students than they anticipated I won't even get a text book till they get another shipment in... So I'm double fucked. And I didn't realize that was going to be the case until yesterday.
The other time constraint is that I planned to be an officer in two clubs and a class officer. I didn't think it would be too bad but then someone resigned in the biggest club in the school (Teenage Republicans) and they put me as an officer without asking (and now they regret it since I'm not you typical republican I.E. atheist) but I won't quit because I refuse to let a club down. And one of the other clubs I am in (Key Club) grew from 6 members to over 50 (still small but a bigger work load than I thought).
Basically, my real world life has become far too crazy for me to have any major responsibility in NationStates without it being a decision to skip RL responsibilities for NS... Which I won't do.
It really stinks, but I am resigning from my role as Consul. I was really excited to be back with the old gang but I don't really have a choice. I will be around as often as possible (hopefully every couple days) if advice is needed... And if you want me to change WFE or eject/ban someone as founder TG Topid and/or TannerFrankLand. (Both would be advisable since I don't really know which one I'll log in the most on.)
Good luck, Anti has the password and link to the recruitment tool, so the region still has it's greatest asset. I still want to help as much as I can, and I have absolutely no idea whether I'll be back ever or not... I would say it is highly unlikely until the end of senior year (May).
